General Dalbir Singh visits Armoured Corps Centre and School and Mechanised Infantry Regimental Centre at Ahmednagar

General Dalbir Singh, the Chief of the Army Staff visited the Armoured Corps Centre and School and the Mechanised Infantry Regimental Centre, Ahmednagar today.

Gen Dalbir Singh appreciated the laudable work being done by both institutions and the Mechanised Forces in general. The Chief of the Army Staff complimented the Armoured Corps Centre and School and the Mechanised Infantry Regimental Centre, for state of the art training infrastructure and focus towards enhancing battle preparedness standards. He stated that he was confident of the Mechanised arms to take on renewed operational roles as part of our Army. He also expressed that the commitment, morale, training and operational capabilities of the Mechanised Forces was praise worthy.

Gen Dalbir Singh will also be inaugurating the two day Biennial Armoured Corps Conference being organised at the Armoured Corps Centre and School, Ahmednagar and attend its first session on 13 May 2016.
