Appointments
Lt General Rakesh Kapoor assumed the appointment of the Deputy Chief of the Army Staff, DCOAS (IS & C) of Indian Army on June 9, 2023. Prior to assuming this key appointment, he was serving as General Officer Commanding, Desert Corps.
Lt General Manoj Kumar Katiyar, assumed the appointment of General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Western Command, July 1, 2023. Prior to this, he was the Director General of Military operations (DGMO) of Indian Army.
Lt General Pratik Sharma assumed the appointment of the Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) on July 1, 2023. Prior to this, he was commanding the Kharga Corps.
